[Kenwood] TS-830S Problem - Hum

Tom,
I have heard some reports of filter capacitors going bad on this radio -- but
cannot recall the location of the information. Perhaps it was just in
conversation on the air. You might also search for info on the very similar
(as far as power supply) TS-530S and TS-530SP.
Do you have any way to know if the radio had sat idle for a long time?
