[Kenwood] TS-830S Problem - Hum

I researched the archives but could locate nothing on hum problems in the 
830S.

The rig was recently purchased and I am getting reports of hum on my CW 
signals on transmit.  SSB has not been tried as of yet.  The receiver works 
very well with no distortion. Generally you would associate a hum problem 
with a leaking filter capacitor in the power supply.  Before I open the rig 
up I thought I would see if anyone on the reflector had any other 
recommendations to check out to possibly cure the hum.
