[Kenwood] TS-930 question

Steve,

To answer your question I turned on my TS-930, removed the antenna, and
turned on the calibrator and tuned to the peak S-meter reading at
~14.000MHz .  It has the stock Kenwood filters, 2.3KHz in each IF in the
CW Wide mode, and 500Hz in each IF in the CW Narrow mode.  Here are the
results:

Rocker switch Wide, 2.3KHz:
CW VBT "Normal"  S-meter 8.2
CW VBT "12 o'clock"  S-meter 8.1
CW VBT "9 o'clock"  S-meter 7.1
CW VBT "Narrow"  S-meter 6.7

Rocker switch Narrow, 500Hz:
CW VBT "Normal"  S-meter 7.2
CW VBT "12 o'clock"  S-meter 7.1
CW VBT "9 o'clock"  S-meter 6.9
CW VBT "Narrow"  S-meter 6.6
