Yes it does.  500 Hz filter selection in the TS-850 8.83Mhz IF stage
works great on digital modes but I rarely use it for PSK31 unless
splatter is real bad.  The 500 Hz bandwith really limits the number of
signals you will see on your PSK31 waterfall at one time.

How do you use the cw filter in SSB mode on the 850? Does it allow that?
