Anyone here have a problem similar to mine? My TM-733A makes a "rushing"
noise
from the speaker after being turned off. Also after killing the DC and
re-applying it to
stop the noise, the rig will sit there in silence but something is still
drawing a lot of
current as it becomes very warm to the touch after about a half hour. On
occasion
but not very often the front panel buttons behave erratically sometimes
even causing
the radio to turn off. I think that it's possessed! Kenwood was no help.
Suggested I
send it in. Big surprise. Took them 10 days to answer my email. I
thought about
replacing the audio output IC but that wouldn't explain the other flaky
problems. Any
help would be greatly appreciated.
