Hi Gents, if his TS790 is anything like a TS850, perhaps he might like to
take a look at this site:  http://www.qsl.net/k0bx/  ,go to the left side
and select "TS850 computer interface 2".  I built one of these and it works
great with my 850.  Once you hook this up to the radio, you may either watch
the bands change on the logging software as you change them on the radio, or
depending on your logging software, you can control the radio via the
program.  Just found out about mouser, they have no minimum order, unlike
other places, so that might be a good place to obtain the parts.  Hope this
