[Kenwood] AVVID still around?

What kind of a comment is the remark below? I have not had one bit of a
problem with Clif, who has ridden this reflector for years and passed out
all kinds of 100% help, while working in his shop.

He worked on a TS-440S/AT of mine and sent it back, weeks later, in
beautiful condition (the problem was, it would not fail so he put an
analyzer on the suspect area and waited until it did, and kept me
frequently informed, and was genuinely excited when it finally went into
failure mode so he could logically repair it - he was upset it took so
long, keeping me off the air).

He suggested I get a TS-570DG, a super alternative at that time and the
rig I now use all the time. He told me the truth about the rig and it has
lived up to what he said.

He offered to buy my 440 and the obvious fact is, I should have sold it to
him, since it has lost value and I used it only to verify that it was
repaired and working - and was it ever. It still does, but it just sits on
the shelf, turned off. Great rig that served me well for many years.

The writer below is terribly insulting. "hypocritical kiss the butt of the
customer type". You have to be on something. Give us a break. That was
uncalled for and without basis in fact. BTW, what does "Ec since 1996"
mean? If it is an extra class slam, that too is uncalled for, IMO.

 This guy isn't going to win  the Mr. Sweeti-poo contest. If you
don't care about hypocritical kiss the butt of the customer types -
then this is your man. He is without doubt one of the very best in
the country at what he does.
