[Kenwood] TS940 Pwr Supply Fan info

Just bought a nice clean 940 (10 mil s/n) and noticed it runs a little hot
on the power supply side.  Inspection revealed that the fan was barely
turning.  The fan checks good with a 12 volt bench supply.  I have approx
18.8 volts on one side of the thermistor.  When I jumper the thermistor, I
can see approx 2 volts on the high side of the fan and it's turning, but not
enough to move air.  I also get the same results by putting my solder iron
close to the thermistor while it's in the circuit.  Sure would appreciate
some help if anyone has been down this road.
