I thought that was what we were talking about. The TS-440
vs. the TS-450 There are other very important considerations
involved in choosing a rig than just receive
capabilitiess/characteristics unless you are aquiring the
radio merely for SWL only. The opinion and experiences
expressed on this reflector are the logical thought
processes that occur when a REAL ham rates a radio.
Generally evaluations do not include only HALF of the
radio's capabilities ie. SWL'ing. The transmitter is also
taken into very serious consideration as well. We became
HAMS to TALK not to just listen. Another $0.02
