Have a TS-830 with a burned final choke in the final unit.
Does anyone know what gauge of copper wire is used in
winding the choke around the ceramic post? Its thinner than
30 gauge copper.=20
I have only 30 gauge...is it posible to use 30 gauge if I
double or triple layer it and use super-thin teflon tape(the kind
used in sealing plumbing threads between layers?
Also need the L1 choke coil attached to the bottom lead
of the final choke.
Could also use a plate capacitor shaft coupling (2 piece)
that fits to plate cap in final compartment.=20
Looking for a parts ts-830 but no one has offered one as yet.
Thanks to all...Mike (KA0PWW)
