Interesting, Last time I need to talk with Kenwood, I sent an email to 
Kenwood east and got an answerback in about 20 hours. That was about a year and a 
half ago.  They looked at my old TS430, and returned it in two week time from 
when I shipped it to them.  I decided not to have them repair, as it was the 
send side, which was knocked out by lightening, and the cost was as much as 
buying another used TS430, so I bought a TS570.
