   The ultimate cure, is to replace the "curly cord" lead from the mic base
to the rig... It's absolutely hopeless...Almost no screening. I replaced
mine with a cord from an old computer keyboard, and have had no more
problems.
     I originally tried the usual ferrite beads, bypass caps, garlic ...and
a stake 'thru the heart.... to no avail....
