I appreciate everyone's input on the battery pack issue. I think I'll pick-up one new pack from Leo and try to carefully dissect the old battery packs. I'm not too concerned if I accidentally damage the old packs in the process as they are of no use to me right now anyway. 73, Michael N9BDF
