[Kenwood] TK-380 Not Powering

Hello,
I have a TK-380 Portable that isn't powering on.
The battery is charging/charged. I have a feeling the charger wasn't =
working correctly and it blew something inside. Does anyone have an idea =
if its a diode that could have shorted and not the whole radio?
