[Kenwood] computer interfacing for TS940S

I want to interface my new (used) TS940SAT to my computer for use with NA 
contest software.  The keying interface is no problem, but I am mostly in 
the dark about the control interface.  Apparently the 940 has an accessory 
board, the IF10B and an external box, the IF232-C, that are used 
together.  The previous owner of the radio did have it interfaced to his 
computer.  He no longer had the IF232-C, but the IF10B may still be 
inside.  I didn't know enough to ask about it when I got the rig.

I had to open the radio up before SS yesterday to fix the attenuator and 
took the opportunity to look around for the IF10B.  There was a small PCB 
mounted where the VS-1 would go, but I don't think it is the VS-1, since I 
have never heard the synthesized voice.  Could that be the IF10B?  Does it 
even go inside the radio?  In any case, which connector is used to 
interface to the computer?  Perhaps I could build the 232 interface.  Has 
anyone done that?

Perhaps someone has some literature and or directions that come with the 
IF10B and IF232-C box and could scan them in and email them to me.  It 
would help a lot, and any other guidance would be helpful.
