[Kenwood] TS570S performance

Hi John,
There are lots of comments regarding the TS570 NB in the archives. I've got
one here, and have never found a noise that the NB would take out. The
operators manual says that the NB works on ignition type (fast rise) noise.
I seem to remember simaler comments on the TS2000. No power line noise here
to play with. On the other hand, the beat cancel works as good or better
than the autonotch in my 870 and the rx sense is about equal. The 870 dsp
seems to work a little better, but the 570 is no slouch. For the money the
570 is a pretty nice radio, spend the extra and get the 6m version, resale
seems to hold up better.
