[Kenwood] TS-820S 12VDC Operation

I had a TS-520S that I added the optional inverter to.  It worked well in
the mobile environment, however it might be a challenge on a battery.  With
the tube heaters turned on, the receive mode drew over 5 amps...  OK in a
running vehicle, but not much run time on a stand alone battery.....

By the time the TS830 came along, I believe the inverter option wasn't even
available anymore.  By then, the TS-180 and others were available too....
