[Kenwood] cooling fan

 I have a TS140S, and would like to know just when the fan for the finals
should work.
 It does not seem to come on at all.
 Fan itself will work if I feed it 6 volts from a lantern battery I have
floating around the shack.
 Does not come on when transmit is keyed.
 Manual does not mention anything about it (that I can see), and I have no
schematic for it.
 Would appreciate a schematic if anyone has one in any usable format.
