The NB in my old T-T Triton works on the Toyota as well as the lawnmower. My
newer KW rigs, no.
One drawback, strong key clicking signals (fast rise times on cw) cause a
breakdown and if there is strong line noise that otherwise is eliminated,
the cw is heard (as noise) even if the cw signal is 500Kc. or more away from
recv freq. as the noise comes thru the blanker. You can tell the cw signal
is there because you can hear the niose.
I may not have explained that very well but I think some of you know to what
I am referring.

Evidently, Kenwood made many models with noise blankers that do little, if
anything.
