Hi Leslie,

(With apologies to the group, since this is the ONLY way I can reach you)!
You asked a question on the reflector and although I normally answer
specific questions direct, this time I CCed to Kenwood as well. You
obviously have good reasons to do this and I understand that. However, let
me say (without malice) that it is usually good practice not to "throw"
people out when they show the courtesy to answer a question posted over a
reflector. When you post a question over a reflector like this, you make the
choice to receive direct replies as well. Kenwood questions are usually of
interest to all, but every now and then a questions pop up - to which a
direct reply seems more appropriate.

You are obviously doing this to keep spam off your in-box. However, let me
ssure you that this wil not be the first and the last time a person answers
you direct, off the reflector and feels a bit let down! If you must, perhaps
you can rephrase your message. After answering in good faith, to be "thrown
out" doesn't sound polite at all!!! Howeevr, I assure you that I understand
this wasn't anything personal against me!!!!
73,
Ron, 6Y5/4S7RO
