[Kenwood] Comparing the TS850 and the ICOM 751

Interesting discussion. I have BOTH the TS-850 and the ICOM 751.=20

I think the Icom reciever is hotter ( it has the pre-amp) but I like the =
TS-850 better ( Automatic Antenna Tuning if nothing else)

I just wish the 850 reciever was as hot.
Maybe I have a failing componant in the 850?

Any of you have any thoughts?
