[Kenwood] TS930S CW filter(s) problem solution?

Previously I had reported to this list that
1. I seemed to have about 20 db too much loss when I used
my narrow cw filter.
2. My audio peak filter did not seem to work at all, e.g.,
no audio when it was switched in.
Some years earlier I had my local dealer send my rig back to Kenwood
for repair of the drivers and finals, it being a repair beyond their
capability.
Kenwood had returned it to the dealer. I tried it at the dealers and
found that it had NO CW reception at all. Their repair department
determined that it was a broken filter board and the local repair
department
"repaired it".
After that, I noted the attenuation with the narrow filter and
eventually
that the audio peak filter no longer functioned.
Today I took the rig apart, dreading what I would find. What I found
was quite interesting and now I am trying to figure out what to do
about it.
Originally I had a YK-88C-1 filter and a YG-455C-1 filter. Today I found
a
YK-88C-1 filter and a YG-455CN-1 filter! Are the center frequencies of
the
YG455C-1 and the YG455CN-1 far enough apart to
1) give me the additional attenuation ?
2) be far enough out of the audio passband so that
when I have a signal the beat note is attenuated say 60 db
by the audio filter regardless of the peak setting?
Would I be better off buying a YK-88CN-1 or a YG-455CN-1? If I do the
former, do I need to realign anything? If so how hard is it to do it?
Anybody want to trade a YG-455C-1 for a YG-455CN-1?
