[Kenwood] Why take a chance -- ASK the manufacturer

Honesty aside, in our present suit-crazy society,
if someone does distribute (by any means,
copying, scanning or making a PDF) a copyrighted
manual, legally they could be sued by that
manufacturer for copyright infringement -- so why
take that chance!

Copyrights, in general, are issued for 50 years
(and renewable for an additional term), and very
few pieces of equipment last that long!

Personally, I wouldn't take a chance at violating
copyright laws, simply because, with my luck,
someone would decide to launch a suit, and I
would not want to be stuck in such a situation.
As has been previously stated here, the wise
thing to do is to ask the manufacturer if it's
OK.
