[Kenwood] Feedback needed on the 870S

Kenwood radio. I have been using Yaesu as in FT1000D for years and have
owned some Kenwood radios starting with the TS430S, 440s, 450S, and 850SAT.
I have heard great things about the 870S. Could I get some objective
feedback without starting a war from honest owners and users. By the
way..what should a two year old 870 sell for and where there any quality
control issues with any of the runs of 870's. I had heard there was when
they first came out and this one is two years old and comes with the VS-2
voice module, and SP31 speaker for 1450.00 plus shipping. I would appreciate
