[Kenwood] TS-570D(G) Problem

Thanks to all who wrote and shared their expertise. It does appear at
this point that the problem was RF in the shack. I've never had that
problem before with this exact same setup (antenna, ground, the whole 9
yards...) so I didn't think in that direction.
Paul Manuel suggested, among other good ideas, to "wind the DC power
cord together to reduce its surface pickup area." I did that, as well
as putting the power supply in a completely different place (on the
floor for the moment!) and the problem seems to have gone away.
I'm going to reserve final judgment for awhile because the setup was
working last night also...for the first QSO...and then...lights out!
