You know, I've had a TS850 and TS2000, and never did know the difference between the Carrier and Power controls. The Power seems to work almost all the time, no matter where the Carrier is set. Carrier seems useful on AM. If you set power at 85 watts you get 85 watts! Someone please explain to this old person what the difference is! 73 jerry w8gnd
