No way to know unless the radio goes to default settings at turn on. Go to

Is there a method to confirm, if the internal memeory battery needs to be
changed, without opening the TS 850 ??
If I need to change the battery, is a gas soldering iron, safer to use. What
is the recomended temperature, not to damage the pcb.
