[Kenwood] Kenwood Repair

Yeah, I emailed Cliff some time ago to ask him about my rig. Sent it to
Kenwood anyway - nothing against Cliff - just thought I'd have more access
to parts, etc. Kenwood East promised 6-8 weeks, Cliff said 6 weeks.

Well, I'm approaching 11 weeks from Kenwood. I call and they tell me their
one and only '940 tech is working on it. They've been telling me this for a
week. I surely hope I don't get charged $50/hour for a week's worth of
work. Maybe its time to buy that FT-1000MP instead :-) ?

Other models seem to wiz right through - I guess the '940 is hard to work
on.

Cliff is probably out there laughing at me right now!
