[Kenwood] Dead TS-440SAT

Well folks hope everyone had a great Field Day mine was for the most part. I
did encounter a problem with my 440 that grieves me terribly. We had been in
operation for several hours and the Rig died. With a check or two we found
that the power supply (PS-50) had blown an internal fuse. So while the
supply was being repaired we fired it up on another this time with inline
fuse holders and after proximity fifteen seconds it blew one of them.
Thinking the cooling fan may have stopped working and kicked the rig off on
thermal overload we put another rig on the air. Today I had time to check
the rig again and the same scenario fifteen second and the fuse blows. I've
owned the rig for four years and it has performed flawlessly until now.
Anyone have any ideas?
