[Kenwood] ts570 upgrade ?

need some help from cw ops..bought a used ts-570 for
mobile to replace the ft-100..very happy with change,
but..what about this $125 upgrade to "G" status.  is
this expense worth it? I am running mobile cw 90% of
the time. BTW I just installed the 270 filter.
