For your info: You may recall my email about 2 weeks ago regarding the failure of my new F6A. It stopped transmitting on 2meters and 440 mid QSO. All settings and indications were correct, I even had full scale on the power meter when keyed but no output. I received the HT back from Kenwood (West) and the reported problem was a "cold solder, repaired Q55 to correct no transmit power....".
