[Kenwood] foot switch

Hi Larry,
First you hire a little girl that works for Kenwood with tiny fingers and
great
dexterity to do it for you. hi
Then buy a 7 pin din plug.. Available at most parts supply places.
Solder the center conductor of the shielded line from the foot switch to pin
3 of the plug. Twist and solder the shield to a ground tab on the plug.
This will do it ......and it works very well for cw. Much better than
keying with the
vox circuit.
If you ever have to add the alc line and relay circuit in this same SMALL
plug for a linear, then you will need some swear words to complete the job.
