[Kenwood] Kenwood TS-940Sat for sale cheap

I have the opportunity to purchase a 950 at a great price, but I must
part with my 940 first.  This has been a great workhorse rig up until
about 6 months ago.  It then developed the infamous PLL unlock problem.
We tried the fix in the service bulletin on that issue but the problem
came back within a few weeks.  The problem appears to be with cracked
solder joints on the PLL board.  I no longer have the eyesight to work
on these boards.  For someone with the solder skills, eyesight and
patience, this could be a great deal for a fine radio.  Cosmetically,
the rig is good to average.  There is one small ding at the back of the
case on one side.  I will include the operating manual along with a
somewhat ratty, but complete service manual.  No mike included with this

deal.  Does have the narrow cw filter even though I never operated cw on

this rig.  I am asking $400 or best offer plus shipping from 68504
