Check the following  and email me back

1) What is the serial number of the radio?

2) In SSB mode try it on 75M and then on 10M in other words is the problem 
noticeably worse on 10M than on 75M. If this is the case you may find that 
even CW output on 10M is a problem as well.

Depending on the answer to these two questions I may know what the problem 
is....
