[Kenwood] TS-850sat Problem

Hi Guys,

 First,  Thanks to all who supply mods and fixes !!

 My problem concerns the CAR board,. and YES, the DDS 6631 Chip's.  24 hours ago My
pwr output dropped to zero and the ALC went to full, The problem was caused by on of
the DDS chips failing and burning 5 legs and probably the track's.
 I spoke to Kenwood (UK) this morning and was told that they were expecting the next
shipment of the CAR board X50-3149-00 is expected to arrive in the UK in late March
2003 at the earliest !!.
 Please could someone in the USA or elsewhere see if any of these boards are
available near them.  The only one I have found in the UK has got two dud chips and
the work to change all the chips for the 66312 will cost more than a new board!..

 I anyone could help it would be appreciated.
