[Kenwood] SB problem with my Kenwood 430S

A few days ago I posted this same message, but I wrongly described it as a
440S.( I used to use a 440 and I guess thats why I made the mistake). It is
accually a 430S. I'm pretty embaressed over making this error.

The following is the message I posted earlier concerning the 430:

Hello,
I just installed the YK-88A AM filter in my 430S that I purchased on e-bay.
It seems to work good on AM...good audio and good signals...but now I am
having a problem on side band...no signal strength deflection on the meter.
I can hear a signal here and there...very weak.
On AM and CW modes things seem to be normal.

I was wondering if anyone else has run into this problem after installing
the YK-88A filter . Or if this is a problem I caused somehow. I rechecked my
work several times to be sure I did it right.

Would appreciate any comments.
