[Kenwood] TS 820 Problem

SUBJECT: MY OLD TS820S

Hi, guys,

I have an old TS820S but it has a very poor sensitivity. I have done the 
procedure indicated in the manual about the adjustment, employing the 
marker tone, looking fot the maximun position of the S meter, and 
ajusting the coils in the ant and mix plate.

The resorts were these:

BAND      1.8     3.5     7.0    14.0    21.0     28    28.5    29    29.5

S                 4        4       4        2.5      1.5     ------- 
did�t heard the tone------

I did all the proceduries indicated in the manual, this is: looking for 
the maximun S with Drive and Tuning knows using the marker-

Like you see the S indication is going down as frequency is going hight.

Even inside of 7.0 band the situation was like this:

frequency    7.0   7.15    7.3

S                   4       3        2.5


Maybe some components are with difficulties.

Could you give me some ideas?
