  Just an update... I've had no less than *10* replies on this. Some suggested that the antenna was at fault. It's a new
antenna, but it measured at 1.2:1 SWR at 50.125, and it's new RG-8x coax.

  A couple suggested the wiring itself. Well, it is the factory wiring cable. You'd think it'd be able to handle the radio.

  But, 3 suggestions were for the fuses. Well, the original cable has just 1 fuse, and I checked it. I didn't find any burn
marks, but the clips were not very tight. I did the tighten-up and tried it at full power until the fan came on. So, I'd say
the fuse was my culprit. :-)

  Now, if 6 meters would just open again...
