[Kenwood] YK-88SN filter

       From personal experience, the YK-88SN will fit the TS-830S, TS-430S, 
and TS-440S transceivers, and the R-5000 receiver as well.  I experienced a 
similar "offset" problem when I removed a YK-88A-1 filter from the 
filterboard it was soldered to, and installed the filter only in a TS-430S.  
Before filter installation the VFO read heads-up on center frequency; after 
installation, the unit tuned 2.4 kHz below center frequency.  I came to the 
conclusion that there is some sort of built-in offset in the -1 filters; but, 
now, it appears there may also be such a factor in the -1 board.  I don't 
know....I and I would hope that someone knowledgeable will clear up this 
matter for the both of us.
