What a great turnout! I counted 45 or so present. It may have been the highest attendance we've had at this location. Amazing. Big thanks to Carl (ARRL Bandplan), Don (Antenna Simulation) and Lee (W0JM) for the great presentations. We had something for everyone last night. There have been quite a number of guys interested K0LW's W0JM presentation. Lee has kindly agreed to let us post that out on the club website. We will get that put up there so look for an announcement when that happens - sometime in the next couple of weeks. 73/jeff/ac0c From kcdxc at mailman.qth.net Tue Mar 31 22:20:01 2015 From: kcdxc at mailman.qth.net (=?UTF-8?Q?Wm=2E_LAUX_=28N=C3=98AG=29?= via KCDXC) Date: Wed, 1 Apr 2015 02:20:01 +0000 (UTC) Subject: [KCDXC] Amazing attendance for the March KCDXC meeting In-Reply-To: References: Message-ID: <1492440555.2585192.1427854801227.JavaMail.yahoo@mail.yahoo.com> Good Evening: I just wanted to say thanks to Great Big KCDXC thank you Mike (AB?X) for providing the W?AR medallions of the 2014 Contest. ?I had 3 or 4 guys come up to me last night & tell me how much they enjoyed receiving that medallion. ?I would've loved to take credit for the idea but Mike &Steve (K?CS) started this at the inception of the contest. ?This is such a classy way to thank the participants each year for their hard work! Bravo, Bravo to Lee for the W?JM presentation. ?I know personally how much their relationship meant to Lee, it is great to see Johnny's legacy passed on to new members of the club. As Jeff (AC?C) mentioned, job well done to ALL the presenters last nite. ?I especially enjoyed Don's treatise on antennas. ?I was still replaying some of that in my pointy little head today. Nice job Don! Thanks for everyones support for the 2014 W?AR & N?SS Contests. ?Folks we have something going here lets keep the ball rolling. 73, Tom...N?AG From: Jeff Blaine To: "kcdxcforfun (kcdxcforfun at byrg.net)" ; "'kcdxc at mailman.qth.net'" Sent: Tuesday, March 31, 2015 2:01 PM Subject: [KCDXC] Amazing attendance for the March KCDXC meeting I want to thank all the guys who brought guests and some of the members who drove in from the hinterlands to attend the March meeting.
