If you are experiencing  withdrawal symptoms due to the void left by the ARRL Centennial and  W1AW activity ,  a cure is made available by the DARC.

65 Years DARC To celebrate the 65th birthday of the DARC, the DX & HF Contesting Committee is issuing a special award. From January 1st through December 31st 2015, the applicant has to submit confirmed contacts with DL65DARC and DK65DARC using the DCL (DARC Community Logbook) as follows: Basic level: all 24 DARC-districts by working the special call signs DL65DARC or DK65DARC (24 contacts) Master level: all 24 DARC-districts by working the special call sign DL65DARC and once again all 24 DARC-districts by working the special call sign DK65DARC (48 contacts)Every district is activating each call sign for two different weeks spread over the entire year. Additionally the DX & HF Contesting Committee will activate the special call signs during certain periods. Contacts made during these periods may be used in place of missing districts once per special call sign (“Jokerwoche” in the activity list).
