I need to give Tony the head count tomorrow. Few items... 1. Several guys have asked if they must bring something. The answer is no. However, if you have a family-favorite dish of any type and would like to bring it, please do. The dishes members bring to the party really adds to the party. 2. The slide-show will be running again this year. And I?m always looking for new pictures to add. If you have run across some this year, please forward to me by email. One source: we have had some really great ham history presentations since the last party and I would be happy to put some of those pics into the rotation. 3. The shack will be open earlier in the day. If you would like to come early and operate, contact me. 4. Sunset is petty close to 5PM. Weather permitting, I will take interested guys on a tour the antennas out back - but it will need to happen around 5PM so we can avoid the tour-by-flashlight again. hi hi 5. New shack stuff this year ? antenna switching board and the first of the So2r contest amps. Some may recall the empty rack from last year. I?ll have the covers off and powered down as it?s unlikely it will be completed by then. And the 6m KW SS amp. 73/jeff/ac0c www.ac0c.com alpha-charlie-zero-charlie From Jeff.Blaine at epak.com Sun Dec 14 13:51:05 2014 From: Jeff.Blaine at epak.com (Jeff Blaine) Date: Sun, 14 Dec 2014 18:51:05 +0000 Subject: [KCDXC] 2014 KCDXC Christmas party Message-ID: Thanks to everyone who was able to attend the club party. Thank you for the kind words. It's been my honor and privilege to serve as your Midwest Division Director the past five years and before that as Vice Director. And a special thanks for your lead role in sponsoring the 2011 W0DXCC in Leavenworth, Kansas, your assistance in the 2013 ARRL Midwest Division Convention in Lebanon, MO, your annual Dayton CW Pileup contest, and so many other things you do every year to promote DXing and Contesting. I will always value your friendship and support! See you in the pileups! 73, Cliff K0CA From co8ly at frcuba.co.cu Wed Dec 24 16:51:02 2014 From: co8ly at frcuba.co.cu (co8ly) Date: Wed, 24 Dec 2014 16:51:02 -0500 Subject: [KCDXC] From CO8LY Message-ID: You and your family have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. We are all sorry for your loss this year and wish it could have been better. Hopefully 2015 will bring joy. I have been down with a terrible cold ever since our Roadster party but much better today. I probably gave it to 2300 people at the Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert Tuesday night. Retirement has been very good this year and I still enjoy seeing Bob and Danny leaving for work everyday. Best Wishes, Merry Christmas, and a Happy 2015 to everyone.
