[KCDXC] KY0F Comments on 9J2T Operation

The Italian Group has been activating African countries on a regular basis
and they are very accomplished operators.  Among them is JA3USA, Mac, who is
the only non-Italtian in the group.  I have the pleasure of calling Mac one
of my friends going back to the days I was KR6VX in 1970.  Eddy, I don’t
know if Mac was the operator for your QSO with 9J2T, but I had the pleasure
of working him at 9J2T and he was operating exactly as you stated.  When
requesting QSL’s from them, I send extra cash.  I know that Mac pays his own
way on these DXpeditions as I suspect most of the others do.  So, it is not
a bad idea to give them some support.
