Just for the record, I’m used to getting needled by Barnett and Wilson – we go back a long ways. I took no offense… FWIW: Socotra was 20 over 9 into western MO still at 10 p.m. last night on CW. I had originally planned to let all the “me first” folks get done and go after them next week in earnest but I went up on 20m and found that they were going by propagation maps and were working the Midwest by the numbers… When I came up they were finishing the 8’s then did about 10 minutes of 9’s. I was the 3rd or 4th zero they worked… Hope to continue to hammer away on CW tonight and MAYBE get “Uncle Larry” up and operational as well tonight! Hope to catch them on 15m but they’ve been way down in the noise the past two days so far. I have practically no hope of getting them on 17m since I only have a dipole up at this point. Will have to wait much later in the week to try that one. Not expecting to hear them on 40m or 80m but who knows…
