I'm here in the Philippines now.  This issue is front and center on the paper daily.  Along with the N Korean missle test.  

I don't think it will turn into much - China simply is the 800 lb gorilla and all the Phil government can really do is appeal for public attention and international pressure.  But I will be very happy to make my exit on Saturday in any event.
