If you missed this evening KCDX Club Code practice session, it was very
interesting. We learned from ARRL website that Heathkit is coming back and
plans on having some one or two kits available by the end of the year.
Check out their website. www.heathkit.com

Interesting, I had one person check in this evening on USB it was W0YQG from
spring hill and wow he was very weak here in Gardner on USB. I'm pretty
sure he was able to copy my signal on CW @ 1500 watts this evening.

Covered the following speeds

Started @ 7:00 PM

13 wpm @ 5 wpm Farnsworth spacing

15 wpm @ 8 wpm Farnsworth spacing

20 wpm @ 10 wpm Farnsworth spacing

Stepped back down to

13 wpm @ 5 wpm Farnsworth spacing

20 wpm @ 10 wpm Farnsworth spacing.

That completed the Slow speed session, then I started with the High speed
session

20 wpm full speed

25 wpm full speed

30 wpm full speed

35 wpm full speed

40 wpm full speed

Hope everyone gets a chance to check in sometime with some ideas for this
stuff, I don't want to just be transmitting and not get any involvement. I
would like to start some sort of a round table with some of you on the air,
SSB or CW and we can get comments and input. 73 Rob

Thanks
