Hello Everyone;

I've been a member of the 146.76 Douglas county amateur radio club for years
and it appears the 76 repeater rig is in need of repairs. Word on the
street is the person who normally make repairs is too busy to bother with
it.

With the recent weather events, especially around my house (Southwest corner
of Johnson County/Douglas County Line) we monitored that repeater constantly
for bad weather etc. This past week we've had tornado's all around Gardner
(touched down in Louisburg) etc. and as a result its raised my concerns that
we need to get this 146.76 repeater up and running. Just about every window
of my house as I looked out the other day I would see a funnel cloud after
funnel cloud.

I'm putting feelers out for anyone who has the knowledge and capabilities to
work on repeater equipment (Lee ? Smoke ? anyone you know) and if so then
I will proceed with getting some details about the

Equipment, problems, whatever.

As well, I'm starting to kick off a donation fund raiser to purchase a new
repeater for the Douglas County Amateur Radio Club, in such if you know of a
New Repeater (fairly new, in excellent condition) that maybe purchased for
this purpose please lets talk.

The repeater is 146.76 and is off the air at this time.
