[KCDXC] sx-71

I also have a Hammarlund HQ-180 A receiver that a Non-Ham friend got from
his brothers estate in Ill. I hooked it up to my dipole and it seems to RX
just fine. Good shape for being new in 1963. It could be gone for a real
nice price if someone wants it. It has the external speaker.

If interested, I will send a picture.

KCDXC Members,
    I have a Hallicrafters SX-71 Receiver I bought at a hamfest a few months
ago. I thought I would have time to restore it but the W0DXCC and other
KCDXC duties are taking so much of my time I haven't been able to do much
with it.

I replaced 3 tubes and it plays  but audio is weak. Needs some more work,
but no time available here.

Cosmetic condition is pretty good. All the lettering on the front is good
and dials turn pretty smooth.

Price is $100 and I can  bring it to the KCDXC Meeting tomorrow night.
