Jeff,
As a carrying public servant you should of count in opinion of the KCDXC
members, when important decisions are made. Club members have deserved more
details, ALL of them and not only a dozen (25% at best), who was present at
the given club meeting. Members don't have to attend all meetings, and it's
hard to justify going to one with no agenda.
Please use e-mail and reflector for communications and notifications.
Interesting, but seems that you don't remember anything about this only
proposal...when it happened, who was there, who was for and against
proposal, why more funds is needed and what are the 'new' ideas club will
use funds for. One was able to learn a lot of Chinese language in last few
years, but no recollection of simple details about club meeting...? :)

Why meeting minutes are not send to club members anymore, why no
presentations and new materials are available as well?
Most important-what are those new costly ideas club members will have to
pay for? Could you collaborate on NEW ideas for 2010 and 2011? Tell us a bit
about volunteering and 'public service portfolio'. So far nothing is in the
portfolio... As far as I remember, volunteering is free of charge, right?

As a treasurer you have inherited club with strongest bank account EVER-
$4,496.81 and 66 members, in July 2009. Normally club would have no funds by
September and no one would be able to say where it's all gone...
Please read KCDXC Constitution and follow it up. Treasurer have to tell
members about club funds monthly, if I remember right.

You have mentioned W0DXCC. It was decided that W0DXCC will go under KCDXC
supervision, but will not be sponsored by KCDXC, right?
K4SX was offering $2K(?) to sponsor event and K0RU have promised to
contribute $1K+, under some 'secret condition'. Nothing heard about either
contribution in WB0WBM W0DXCC reporting Mike have forwarded(?) to the club.
W0DXCC minutes are none existent, as well.
Without at least five other serious W0 clubs participation, W0DXCC is a
waste of time and money. Show for about 50 people KCDXC members have to work
for for few years. KCDXC should not participate along.

Topic of membership dues and luck of communications/accountability was
raised by few members by now with no answers. Something needs to be done
about internal communications and way decisions are made in KCDXC.

I will vote with my time, money and ideas. No clown show on leaving and
re-joining the club, this role is taken already :) One may guess what this
decision would be...

There are plenty of Clubs to join, with agenda and ideas.

 Good luck. Alex
