2009 Texas QSO Party

The contest occurs on the last full weekend in September.

The 2009 dates are the 26th and 27th of September. Operating times are from
1400Z (9:00 AM CST) on SATURDAY to 0200Z (9:00 PM CST) 

Then again on SUNDAY and from 1400Z (9:00 AM CST) until 2000Z (3:00 PM CST)
on SUNDAY.

Operation on all bands except on 60 meters, 30 meters, 17 meters, and 12
meters is permitted.

Stations may work the entire contest period.

 

K0RU Operation will be as follows:

Category: Single Op, Mobile (Rover)

Modes: CW/SSB
Bands: 20/40/80 (30M for county hunters when bored)
SPOTS: Please Spot me on the cluster if you can
TWITTER: My Twitter will be updated with County and Runs
GPS/APRS (beacon only): I will try to have my GPS/APRS running and you can
track me live on UFIND

RUN - means I will be transmitting and driving at the same time, keep up and
please, please ... please listen listen to my mobile signal IF YOUR CALL IS
NOT in the LOG... ITS NOT IN THE LOG... Please listen for your
confirmation... Thanks

CL - means county line and I will be stopping and working everyone I can
hear before moving on. Take your time and listen I will always announce my
call and county, just listen.
